Escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life at our PROVENCE ESCAPE in Grambois, Provence/France, a place like paradise for energy, peace and inner harmony. Our private estate with forests, swimmable lake, olive trees, lavender fields, swimming pool gives you the opportunity to DESTRESS, DISCONNECT and DETOX – in the sun of southern France. Daily classes of Pilates, Yoga, running and walking help you to rejuvenate your body, calm your mind, restore your body’s natural balance and get back your energy. · Accommodation in your booked room for 7 nights (rooms with ensuite bathroom)

· Arrival on Saturday from 4pm. and departure on Saturday before 10 am.

· 6x Pilates class (60 min. each), 5x Yoga class (90 min.), 1x CrossFit class on the beach

· Additional activities like running & walking sessions

· Welcome class on arrival day

· 7x healthy fresh starter (tea & fruits, Sun. – Sat., breakfast on last day)

· 6x brunch (mixture of breakfast & light lunch; Sun. – Fri., plus 1x picnic for excursion to the beach)

· 6x delicious dinner (Sat. – Fri., one evening external dinner during our excursion not included)

· Drinks during meals (tea, coffee, water, wine) and water during the day

Destress, disconnect & detox

Do you sometimes feel completely stressed in your daily life, you feel exhausted due to a work overload, you cannot attend regular Pilates and Yoga classes, do sports every day and don’t have the time to treat yourself well? Then take time for yourself during our destress-week to completely disconnect and concentrate on yourself, on your body & mind, for a whole week. You can deepen your knowledge of Pilates and Yoga, improve your style and bring yourself to the next level.

Pilates classes can vary from normal mat class to dynamic Pilates flow sessions, we will use small equipment like overballs, therabands and introduce TRX Suspension training. Keep your Pilates routine interesting in learning new variations of all classical exercises of the mat repertoire and nice transitions so you will feel the flow of energy in each class. In addition, Anke shows you creatively how to arrange Pilates machine exercises on the mat, an inspiration for your training without equipment.

In Yoga we will practice Vinyasa flow Yoga and meditation and Gaelle is teaching a wonderful Yoga series for Provence Escape.

Yoga for all levels
In yoga, as in many other ancient philosophies, our bodies are likened to the macrocosm. Within us, we contain a microcosm made of the same chemical and mineral structures as the world that surrounds us.
Through movement (yoga asana), breathing (pranayama), and meditation (dhyana), we can discover these elements in our bodies. Each class will give you an opportunity to explore each element with different rythmes, through inspiring dynamic vinyasa practices and dance, to pranayama and more restorative/Yin yoga pratices. Join us on this fascinating journey within!

Earth Practice – feeling the qualities of the earth, grounding ourselves with our skeletal structure and gravity. Yin Yoga
Monday
Water – connecting to our fluid body with creative and spontaneous movements. Mellow flow Vinyasa
Tuesday
Fire – finding our passion, ignating our inner fire with an invigorating practice towards the muscles, our core, our center – Yin Yang Practice: “The Dragon dance”
Wednesday
Air – expanding to enhance our heart consciousness with pranayama and heart opening postures. Vinyasa Flow
Thursday
Space – moving beyond our physical bodies to experience deep meditation with chanting, vibrations and a powerful body meditation. Yin Yoga

Anke Meyer   –  Teaching Pilates & Running at Provence Escape

Anke loves everything about sports, movement and physical activity since childhood. She has been passionate about the Pilates method since it helped her to heal her back issues and improve her running training as an athlete, many years ago. Since then Anke became more and more aware of the importance of the body & mind connection in all sports and has been interested in functional movement, holistic health and well-being.

Anke’s teaching is known to be very dynamic and challenging. Her Pilates classes are creative and she will teach variations of the classical Pilates exercises to keep your workouts interesting. With her tactile and image cueing she will help you to do quality exercises in good alignment, thus improving the positive effects to daily life and other sports. Anke will help you to reach your next Pilates level by giving different ideas and letting other functional training techniques influence her classes. Her motivation will give you energy and encourage you for more.


Gaelle Devic  –  Teaching Yoga & Meditation at Provence Escape

Yoga changed her life! Gaelle discovered Yoga back in 2002 in San Francisco where she lived for serveral years and studied different styles of Yoga with famous Yoga teachers and became a Certified Yoga Teacher in Vinyasa, Yin yoga and Aerial Yoga. In her classes she is incorporating different rythmns always focusing on the need of her students. Gaelle is teaching Yoga as an art of living, an exercise of health and an experience of the current moment. In the series that she will be teaching at Provence Escape you will feel yourself that a regular practice helps you to strengthen your natural force, your balance and your prudence.
Being the owner of Layama Studio in Aix-en-Provence Gaelle is also the organizator of the charming “Festival de Yoga en Provence” in Aix-en-Provence.
