Our cosy and modern getaway overlooking the beautiful Costa Brava is just a stone’s throw away from the turquoise water & beach and has been designed for the wellness and relaxation of its guests. Leave behind your daily life and spend a quiet, blissful time tuning in to the rhythm of nature – take time just for YOURSELF, your body & mind.

Daily classes of Pilates & Meditation plus additional activities like running sessions, Yoga, Cross Fit on the beach and hiking tours help you to rejuvenate your body, calm your mind, restore your body’s natural balance and get back your energy. Whether you’re an intermediate or advanced Pilates lover our event offers you intensive dynamic classes to deepen your practice in Pilates, bring your level to the NEXT by doing an intense week of training, calm down your mind by daily meditation classes to concentrate on the present and love yourself and besides meet lovely international people. The hundred square meter Yoga/Pilates and Relaxation Room provides an ideal sunny and seaside spot to mentally and physically relax.

Situated in the picturesque bay of Aiguablava, 1,5 km away from the iconic medieval town of Begur, VILLA PI BLAU could not be better placed. Atop a pine-clad hill and surrounded by a beautiful Mediterranean garden, VILLA PI BLAU overlooks gorgeous crystalline water coves and sandy beaches at short walking distance.

· Accommodation in your booked room for 7 nights (rooms with ensuite bathroom)

· Arrival on Sunday from 3pm. and departure on Sunday after lunch

· 6 dynamic Pilates classes in the morning (60 – 75 min.)

· 2 dynamic Flow Pilates classes in the evening (30 – 45 min.)

· 6 Meditation classes (singing bowl meditation etc.) in the evening (40 – 60 min.)

· 1 Yoga workshop of 2 hours by a local experienced Yoga coach

·  2 Running sessions in the morning discovering hiking roads

· 1 Cross Fit sessions in the morning on the beach

· Welcome class on arrival day (Pilates & Meditation)

· 1 walking tour to Begur with recommendations by Anke

· 1 organized optional SUP session in the afternoon
(we will try Pilates exercises on the board)

· Healthy organic meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by the kitchen team of Villa Pi Blau (Sunday starting with a dinner, day of departure ending with lunch)

· Drinks during meals (tea, coffee, water) and water during the day (wine/alcohol will be charged at a fair price by the kitchen team)

· Free time by the pool – access to the venue’s swimming pool, sun terrace, common areas, kitchen area, relaxation area, free wi-fi

· Towels & bed linen (Please bring your own towels for the pool and beach)

Take time for yourself during our destress & energy-week to completely disconnect and concentrate on yourself, on your training, for a whole week. You can deepen your knowledge of Pilates and Meditation, improve your style and bring yourself to the next level. Classes can vary from normal Pilates mat class to more dynamic Pilates flow sessions. The level in Pilates is intermediate – advanced, you should know the basics, principles and most of the exercises of the mat repertoire. In the daily Mediation classes we will discover singing bowl meditation and others like body scans. Besides, we will  enjoy a 2-hours Yoga workshop one afternoon and have a lot of fun during a 2-hours SUP session. We will challenge our body with some Pilates exercises on the stand up paddle board. For those who love running, there will be 2 morning running sessions where we will discover the hiking roads nearby. You should be able to run about 30 min. at slow pace. One morning we will tackle our bikini shape during a Cross Fit session on the beach to shape up for summer, of course keeping in mind our Pilates principles & good alignment. Don’t worry about your level or experience, you will be fine and different levels are welcome and will be handled individually. Relax and rejuvenate!

Anke Meyer   –  Teaching Pilates, Running & Cross Fit at Pilates Beach Escape

Anke loves everything about sports, movement and physical activity since childhood. She has been passionate about the Pilates method since it helped her to heal her back issues and improve her running training as an athlete, many years ago. Since then Anke became more and more aware of the importance of the body & mind connection in all sports and has been interested in functional movement, holistic health and well-being.

Anke’s teaching is known to be very dynamic and challenging. Her Pilates classes are creative and she will teach variations of the classical Pilates exercises to keep your workouts interesting. With her tactile and image cueing she will help you to do quality exercises in good alignment, thus improving the positive effects to daily life and other sports. Anke will help you to reach your next Pilates level by giving different ideas and letting other functional training techniques influence her classes. Specially handpicked music and her motivation will give you energy and encourage you for more.

Yvonne Hendrikx   –  Teaching Meditation and Mindfulness at Pilates Beach Escape

Yvonne Hendrikx has experience over more than 15 years with various forms of meditation, such as mindfulness, vipassana, tonglen, singing bowl meditation and total body scan. Her foundations were laid back in 2002 in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, where she attended several study and meditation programs. In recent years she has focused on the transformation process, resonance and high sensitivity as a strength. Yvonne’s approach is simple and down to earth. During the singing bowl sessions at Pilates Beach Escape, you will experience a deep mental and physical relaxation that will make you more and more aware of the connection with your own body and your surroundings.

Besides giving meditation and intuitive coaching, Yvonne is a freelance (online) marketing and communication consultant in the profit and non-profit sector in The Netherlands and is an open-minded person who is happy to connect with new international people.
